I definatley think you could do something with this. The graphics were nice, you've got down the ActionScript (barring a few bugs) and even a high score system.

I think if you could come up with another 8 or 17 holes (for 9 holes or 18 holes in total) add in a pre-loader, a fancy menu and a few other simple things this could turn out very well. Some nice relaxing music would also be nice, or even some daft humorous commentary. Another suggestion, display the top ten scores or something at the end of the game. Rather than just the players rank.

Overall, i can see why this has been given a score of just under 2.0. Yes you've put work in creating a nice engine, but the end product needs adding too.

Not to shabby at all.
A nice beat, and an all round cool sounding loop.
If i could be bothered to mess with flash more often, i would definatley use this in a game.
Definatley something for future projects.
